On our latest visit to Laguna Beach we were fortunate enough to spend some time at Athena Day Spa at Diamond St.  This quaint spa is located right off of the Coast Hwy centrally located just steps from the beach and not far from many hotels and the shops and studios in Laguna. For such a cute little place it has many of the amenities that you would expect from a larger resort style spa. As a matter of fact it even has a feature that no other Southern California spa offers… a Time Capsule! Yes, that’s right, Athena Day Spa owns a Hydrotherapy Time Capsule. The Hydrotherapy Time Capsule uses vibrant Color Light Therapy and Hydrotherapy to rejuvenate you and detoxify all the systems of your body. The capsule, which looks much like a tanning bed, also utilizes Aromatherapy Steam, Vichy Showers and Thermal Contrasting. Athena Day Spa at Diamond Street also exclusively features Josephine’s Skincare. I received one of the very best facials I have ever had from Josephine (Jo Jo) Brooks.
