Chris Issak puts on a Memorable Show including fireworks at the Hollywood Bowl (7/08)

An amazing beautiful night in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl included the Bowl Orchestra, Guest Star Chris Issak and his band plus fireworks at the end of the show.  But this was more about Issak who stole the show with his popular dander, comedy and humbleness with the audience during his set.   This Romantic set night started with lovely ballads from some of the most talented classical musicians around.  After the first set and intermission, the packed house enjoyed Isaak as he came out in one of his vintage suits.  He started with a couple of his popular songs before chatting with the crowd about his first time at the incredible Hollywood Bowl; about the hospitable Conductor and his great Orchestra and how they were so great to work with; and even poking fun at the stuffy Hollywood crowd.  He then mentioned he had to play certain music selections because of the Romantic billed night which is different from his usual rock music show.  He walked around the Bowl during one song making friends with members of the audience.  He, of course, played “Wicked Game” among a few of his other hits.   But this wasn’t his usual show but it was very entertaining including the fireworks right over the top of the stage, which brought this fantastic concert to a close.   More information about the Hollywood Bowl schedule and tickets, call  (323) 436-2827 or visit them at www.hollywoodbowl.com
