Hollywood Bowl celebrates the Dodgers 50th anniversary in LA with Fireworks, Music and more (7/08)

A remarkable Dodger baseball night to remember occurred at the Hollywood Bowl on July 2, 08.  In the first of 3 spectacular performances in a row leading up to the 4th of July, the Dodgers and the Bowl put together some fabulous music along with memorable past Dodger moments ending with an incredible fireworks show.

Featured Artists included the LA Philharmonic, conductor Rob Fisher, Tommy Lasorda to tell a little story and sing take me out to the ballgame, Vin Scully, organist Nancy Bea Hefley, Vocalist Brian Childress with some great written Dodger songs and special guest performer Randy Newman.  The night celebrated the Dodgers 50th anniversary in LA and past video clips on the big screens were very inspiring.  Some old Dodger greats also were introduced onstage as they waved to the crowd on this beautiful warm evening.
