More Delicious Than Ever, “Sunday by the Sea” Gourmet Food and Wine Tasting Gala
Returns Sept. 28 to Benefit Providence TrinityCare Hospice Foundation
TORRANCE, CA-The attractions: Tray after tray and table after table of mouthwatering morsels; glass after glass of tantalizing libations. The setting: A gorgeous estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Palos Verdes Estates. The scene: the “Sunday by the Sea” Gourmet Food-and Wine-Tasting Gala returning for its 18th year to benefit a much beloved organization, Providence TrinityCare Hospice Foundation.
This scrumptious annual tradition features tastings from some of the finest purveyors of food and beverages in California, including wineries in the Napa and Sonoma regions. This event also includes a silent auction that invites attendees to bid on wonderful gifts and destinations.
“Sunday by the Sea has become a greatly loved tradition for a number of reasons,” explains Providence TrinityCare Hospice Foundation Executive Director Barbara J. Roberts. “Firstly, it provides many charitable friends an opportunity to visit with each other in a beautiful location. Secondly, everyone has a chance to sample some really terrific food and drink. And finally, it enables individuals to support an organization that has done so much good for so many people for so many years.”
Providence TrinityCare Hospice is one of the oldest and largest non-profit hospices in Southern California, providing comfort care to adults and children with life-limiting illnesses. Proceeds from this event directly benefit the programs of Providence TrinityCare Hospice which include: Patient Care Assistance, TrinityKids Care (the only dedicated pediatric program for infants and children in the region), Necessities of Life, Palliative Care and the Gathering Place.
