Gold Medal Winners May-Treanor/Walsh and Rogers/Dalhausser win at Manhattan Beach AVP Open (9/08)
The AVP Volleyball Tour hit Manhattan Beach, Ca. in another exciting, packed house to see Misty May-Treanor- Kerri Walsh win another title on the women’s side for the 4th straight year. Misty had to mix in dance lessons during the week as she is competing on “Dancing with the Stars”.
On the men’s side, Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser claim another title so both Gold Medal teams continued their winning ways. No. 3 seed Nick Lucena and Sean Scott made the finals but were no match for Rogers/Dalhausser who won their 11th title of the year and 4th Manhattan Beach title which is a record. This was their last tournament of the season for "The Thin Beast" and "The Professor and they are #1 in the World.
