Caesars Palace Hotel Las Vegas “Dining, Pool and Spa” and definitely worth the visit (6/11)

Caesar’s Palace Las Vegas Hotel/Resort/Spa & Casino

The name Caesar’s Palace immediately evokes thoughts and images of grandeur, opulence, indulgence, and fulfillment.  Such a concept in the heart of Sin City is what brings fantasy to reality.

Whether you sip a cocktail on Cleopatra’s Barge or soak and sun by the Gardens of the Gods pool, a visit to Caesar’s Palace can soon adapt to a lifestyle.

Our day’s journey began with lunch, at one of the many restaurants near the casino.  The Beijing Noodle No.9 features authentic Beijing and Northern Chinese dishes, with a wide variety of seafood, pork, beef, chicken and vegetable.

This trendy, Asian dining choice welcomes guests with an entryway of ceiling-tall fish tanks, on both sides of the hallway.  The ceiling and walls were designed with a patterned see-through, double layer, seamless encasement.  The effect is a diffused, yet well lit setting without harsh corners.

With a tasty selection, including the chef’s featured handmade noodle dishes and seafood items, stop by for lunch.

We elected to spend our afternoon by the pool and in the spa.  Of the 8 pools near which to lounge, the center attraction is the Garden of the Gods (pictured above).  Surrounded by columns, statues, waterfalls and a swim-up blackjack bar; the beauty, atmosphere and attentive service lured us into an afternoon of relaxing fun.

We had poolside cabana.  Now, here’s where  the luxury shifts gears.  The Caesar’s cabanas feature stocked fridges, flat screen TV’s, DVD player, ceiling fans, stacks of towels, plush furniture, and specialty services.  Plus, of course exterior plush lounge chairs facing the pool.

We had the specialty house cocktail which involved a cart to be wheeled to our cabana, where a couple of drink creators mixed fruit, fresh juices, fresh mint, and various natural flavors into a solid ice bowl.  They left this fabulous chilled concoction (and a bottle of Belvedere vodka, in its own ice bowl), with which we poured our own happy hour drinks… well, for a few hours, actually.  Yes, we were happy here by the Caesar’s pool, on a sunny afternoon, with custom cocktails, lounging in our private cabana.

[As a bit of trivia, the original name chosen for the hotel was to be Cabana Palace, when it was built in the mid 1960’s.]

The cordial poolside manager, Nicholas, who, with his staff ensured our needs were met, attended us to.

In an effort to balance fun with fit, we had to include a visit to Caesar’s signature Qua Baths and Spa (pictured below).

Featuring couples studios, hydrotherapy tubs, 51 treatment rooms and cascading waterfalls, this luxury retreat is a perfect, tranquil way to soothe away stress and tension from the day.  Todd experienced a fabulous lomi-lomi massage, which was the perfect way to end the day before heading to dinner.  There are quite many selections of massages and treatments but this Hawaiian based lomi lomi is highly recommended.  To see more, visit www.caesars.com/qua-caesars-palace

The workout gym is a clean, modern, large facility–enough to provide for pumping up, stretching and any cardiovascular needs.

Shopping at Caesar’s is an experience all its own.  The Forum Shops include 160 boutiques and shops and 13 restaurants.  With an additional expansion of 175,000 sq. feet and additional levels that extend to Las Vegas Boulevard, it is no wonder that the Forum Shops have held their position as the most successful shopping venue in the country through continual progress.

From shops to spa, entertainment to dining, and so much more– there is an abundance of selection at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.  Look into the package deals that may fit your needs and check out www.lasvegas.caesars.com
