Pain Perdu at Mimi’s Cafe – Pip of a Dish (6/31)

Mimi’s Cafe is offering a great deal and fun promotion in celebration of their35th Anniversary and French heritage on Bastille Day, Sunday, July 14, the French national holiday commemorating the beginning of the French Revolution.

At Mimi’s Cafe country style inn, all the festive flirtiness of the French awaits you, but we’ve found that the service is all-American friendly… we will never forget when we asked if we could share an order and were greeted with such smiles you would think we invented a brilliant idea.   All the more to try new things was our reward.

And don’t be put off by a waiting crowd.  The friendly hostess will ususally find a way to seat you before you  know it.

Pain Perdu, along with French Onion Soup, is the most French of the breakfast dishes and satisfying enough for a whole meal.

On Sunday, July 14 only, Mimi’s will offer a Heritage Menu featuring several classic dishes available at their original 1978 pricing. Five of the classic tastes that have endured the test of time will be offered at the original 1978 price on Bastille Day, July 14.

  • Pain Perdu – 1978 price: $4.25
