19TH Annual Redondo Beach Lobster Festival is Three Days of Non-Stop Dining Events, Entertainment, and Family Fun, Friday-Sunday, September 26-28 2014

 

 

 

Hours are Friday: 6:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., Saturday: 12:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.,

 

Sunday: 12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

 

 

 

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. — From Friday to Sunday, September 26-28, 2014, over 9,000 lobster lovers from around the world will gather in Redondo Beach for the 19th Annual Redondo Beach Lobster Festival, sponsored by the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau. The event takes place at the Seaside Lagoon and brings a variety of delectable lobster tastings and flavorful dishes that form the centerpiece of Redondo Beach’s most popular signature event.

 

This high-energy festival is a triumph that’s earned its place as a perennial favorite of Southern Californians, because it offers “More to Sea,” with more of everything – electrifying entertainment, fresh Maine lobster dinners, a Lobster Bistro and Lobster FEAST, food booths, mouth-watering dishes, exclusive tastings created only for this event, craft beer tasting, and activities for everyone. Attendees can learn stand-up paddle boarding, and just for kids is the kiddie area, with 45 foot long, 12 foot high dual slide staffed by professionals, face painting, and colorful balloon art.

This year the Festival, under the guiding hand of Signature Chef David Seawell, will debut a Lobster Bistro Package that will feature a host of mouthwatering Lobster dishes and tasty lighter fare of both traditional and contemporary dishes. Also on tap will be the Lobster FEAST headlined by lobster and rounded out with all the fixings. Those wishing to dine with family and friends can reserve a table for the Lobster FEAST of all the fixings and selection of wine choices. The ever-popular Surf ‘N Turf Dinner Package with Certified Angus Beef ® Center-Cut New York Strip Steak and Maine Lobster are also on the menu, as are Large and Small Louie Dinner packages, Certified Angus Steak Dinner Package, Small Louis Couple’s Package, Surf ‘N Turf Couple’s Package,Surf ‘N Turf Group Dinner Package, and Small Louie Group Dinner Package. Saturday, September 27

 

  • A Certain Groove, soul vocalists driven by guitar, bass, and drums.

  • Frankly Speaking delivers rock and dance music with tight harmonies and instrumental solos.

  • The Reflexx, a Southern California 80s New Wave performing synth-pop dance songs.

  • The Knights of Monte Carlo comprises a refined quartet that resurrects the best music to hit the airwaves – 70s soft rock.

  • Surf City All Stars w/ David Marks is the only band in the world to have played and sang lead vocals in the Beach Boys and Jan & Dean Bands.

 

Sunday, September 28

 

  • Shari Puorto Band is a soulful singer with a sexy, raspy sound bringing to mind Janis Joplin.

  • Eric Sardinas & Big Motor, with six albums, features a distinct style that pushes the boundaries of rock and blues.

  • Janiva Magness seamlessly weaves roots, rock and soul music together in a highly original approach to her music.

  • The Straycat Lee Rocker, grammy-nominated, was founded by rocker Brian Setzer and Slim Jim Phantom. The group has sold nearly 10 million albums.
