We attended Alan Jackson’s sold out 25th Anniversary Keepin’ it Country Tour at the Nokia Theatre LA LIVE on February 27, 2015, 25 years to the day that his landmark album, Here in the Real World was released. At 56 years of age, Alan Jackson still has that laid back magic. He sounded perfect supported by an eight-piece band. It felt like a true country concert, cowboy hats and all.
The concert transported us all out of LA for just a while. To our delight he focused on his older material so it was like a walk down memory lane. He even played old videos on the screen behind him to truly take us all back. Some highlights were “Good Time”, “Chattahoochee”, “Here in the Real World” and “I’d Love You All Over Again,”“Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning),” his moving song about the events of Sept. 11, 2001.
