O.A.R. performs at the Northern Trust Open Professional Golf Tournament- February 21st, 2015
We had the experience to check out the best pro golf tournament in the LA area, hear some great music by OAR and roam around the Riviera Country Club on February 21st, 2015. The PGA tour put on a nice event to go along with the golf tournament with a great setting, backdrop and day. My favorite song was “Shattered” but the band has quite a few hits. Where else can you get great live music with the best golfers coming to the So Cal area except the Northern Trust Open.

LOS ANGELES – In an original event for the Northern Trust Open, American rock band O.A.R. will stage a concert on Saturday, Feb. 21, at the PGA TOUR tournament held at the beautiful and historic Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades. Fresh off their recent U.S. tour, the band will perform their hits following the third day of competition (approximately 3:30 p.m.). Part of the new entertainment offerings at the 2015 Northern Trust Open, the show will be complimentary for attendees of the tournament that day.
A successful recording and touring band for more than a decade, O.A.R. is renowned for an intense, vibrant live show and the communal feeling it shares with its fans. Since their formation in 1996, O.A.R. (singer Marc Roberge, drummer Chris Culos, guitarist Richard On, bassist Benj Gershman and saxophonist Jerry DePizzo) has logged millions of miles on the road and released eight studio albums, spawning such hit singles as “Shattered,” “Heaven,” “Love and Memories” and “Peace.”

Guests will sip on cocktails and enjoy dishes from local trendy Los Angeles eateries, with different restaurants featured daily. And when it comes to the O.A.R. concert, The Green Room guests will have the best seat in the house, as the venue is transformed into a backstage setting. True to its name, The Green Room will give fans the ultimate VIP experience allowing front row access to the band.

O.A.R. first began to develop their unique sound while in high school in Rockville, Maryland.
