Local Manhattan Beach Moms, raise $77,133 (and still counting ) for Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles with their First Annual Halloween Monster Ball scheduled on October 24th, 7:30 pm at the El Segundo Automobile Driving Museum.  The Halloween Monster ball will bring together 250-300 attendees that will include affluent South Bay and West L.A. community members, a variety of distinguished professionals and professional athletes (such as NBA Legend Steve Nash), and tastemakers within the area.  The evening will be a night filled with fun, food, dancing, drinks, entertainment and philanthropy!   Guests will enjoy food stations from some of the best restaurants in the South Bay (including Craft Shack and HopDoddy Burger Bar).  100% of the proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that fulfills the wishes of children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 18 who confront life-threatening medical conditions.  On average it costs about $7,500 to grant a wish.  A wish is fulfilled by the organization on average every 38 minutes.

Hosts of the Halloween Monster Ball:

Karina Kraines, Jennifer Ozar and Kat Zimmerman:  Like-minded Southern Californian Mom’s who have a passion for helping other kids and families not as fortunate.  Living in the beautiful city of Manhattan Beach these Mom’s are abundantly aware of how blessed and fortunate they are raising 7 healthy beautiful kids collectively.  In April, these moms teamed up to create “Hunt For A Wish” -an Easter Egg Hunt that brought local together families together to participate in a family day filled with fun, photo-ops with the Easter Bunny, and of course a massive Easter egg hunt.  At the event, a “Wish Family” was gifted with a trip to disneyland and given special easter baskets filled with awesome toys.  The “wish kid” spoke to the crowd about her appreciation and love for the Charity.  On the heels of “Hunt For A Wish’s” success, Karina Jennifer and Kat, had an overwhelming desire to plan something even bigger and raise even more money and so the first annual Halloween Monster Ball was spawned.
