Qusqo Peruvian Restaurant in West LA serves up authentic, delicious food- April 2016
Qusquo Bistro in West LA serves up delicious Peruvian cuisine thanks to owner Lucy, whose family is from the Qusquo area, hence how the name was created. She has had this restaurant for about 8 yrs now and many delicious items you will not find elsewhere.
Start with the homemade Carrot Soup with no cream or butter. So tasty! For appetizers, we had Palta Rellena, which was acocado with stuffed shrimp salad and an order of the fried yucca- their version of french fries.
The happy hour is fantastic from 5:30-7:30 with drink and food specials. My daughters loved the fried potato with meat stuffed inside and the fresh cooked salmon with a side of rice & beans and plantains.
For entrees, we had the seafood paella, which was great full of shrimp, calamari and mussels with saffron rice and the most popular dish is the Saltados: Famous Peruvian dish, a mix of East & West. Sautéed with onions, tomatoes, chilies and potatoes served with steamed rice . We chose the lean lomo steak.
End with the peruvian cookies and ice cream and you will be fully satisfied. Plenty of street parking located at 11633 Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90025 Phone: (310) 312-3800
