The Stanton in Hermosa Beach delicious cuisine in a casual environment- April 2022

The Stanton in Hermosa Beach is a quaint and local favorite. Located at 944 Hermosa Ave near the beach, they offer happy hour and a nice variety on the menu. Their nibbles or appetizers include oysters, they’re delicious yellowtail crudo and scallops on the half shell.  The burrata and golden beet salad was a nice starter as well as their popular veggie meatball, Thai shrimp bisque, tiger prawn roll and lobster roll.   We knew the meal was going to be great after tasting their fantastic sourdough bread.

For entrees, don’t miss the grilled branzino cooked perfection with snap peas and crispy quinoa giving a nice flavor. The pan roasted salmon with beets arugula and lemon yogurt was another great dish to try. The combination of ingredients were super tasty. They also have short ribs and other meats along with a selection of side dishes. Executive chef Charles Kalle Puts together a nice menu and preparation. Enhance your meal with one of their signature cocktails or glasses of wine.

Our server Alyssa was very attentive and the full staff was hospitable and friendly. We definitely recommend The Stanton on your next time you’re in Hermosa Beach at 844 Hermosa Ave near the beach.  Come join for happy hour at the bar or dine at a table while enjoying some sports on TV throughout the restaurant.  Certain nights they have live music including Tuesday as we had the pleasure to hear one of their great guitar/singers.    More at https://www.thestantonhb.com/
