Langers Deli in LA- Best Pastrami Sandwich and more- July 2022

If you are looking for the best pastrami sandwich you’ll ever have, head down to Langer’s deli on Alvarado Street in LA.  It’s the classic deli vibe with the comfortable brown booths and photographs on the wall from its rich 75 year history.

Norm Langer is on hand welcoming guests and making sure everything is running smoothly.  It’s a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

  

They have a wide variety of great menu items, but the pastrami is not to be missed.  There are many options to compliment your sandwich like the classic matzo ball soup or healthy kasha soup or a mixture of both.  The potato knish with gravy is very satisfying.   They also have daily entrees and a daily soup of the day

Our server Eva and all the staff were super friendly and helpful.  They joked that it was against the law not to try the apple pie a la mode for dessert.  They were right.  It was absolutely delicious!

 

There are many delis around, but Langer’s is the best in the city.  It’s a short 10 minute drive from Dodger Stadium if you are heading to a game, but completely worth the drive otherwise.

Overall, what sets Langer’s apart…the quality of their ingredients.  You will not be disappointed!
