The Milwaukee Bucks defeat the shorthanded LA Clippers for 2nd time in a week- March 2024

The LA Clippers were shorthanded versus the Milwaukee Bucks in an afternoon game and wanted to avenge their loss a week before despite the Bucks best player, Giannis Antetokounmpo not playing in that game. This time, the Clippers played out their two stars, Kawhi Leonard and Paul, George but played inspired. It was a close game throughout, but the Bucks were too tough with their three-point shooting going 17 for 38 with Damian Lillard leading the team with 35 points (7-13 on 3 pointers) and Giannis with 34 points as Milwaukee won 124-117.  It was also a return for Doc Rivers as he is now the new coach of the Bucks.   The Bucks improve to 42-23 on the season, while the Clippers fall to 41-22.

The Clippers were well balanced with six players and double figures and Norman Powell leading the way with 26 points but they fell short in the end.  Harden had 11 assists and Coffey had 10 rebounds.  George and Leonard sat out the second game of back to back nursing some injuries but both should be back in the lineup very soon.
