Foxy’s Kitchen + Bar in Rancho Mirage — An Outstanding Dining Experience!

If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers on exceptional hospitality, delicious food, beautiful décor, and an unforgettable atmosphere, Foxy’s Kitchen + Bar in Rancho Mirage is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you arrive, you can feel the care and attention that go into making every guest feel welcome.  This place is not to miss on your next trip out in the area.

A huge shout-out to owners Tim and Teri (pictured above with executive chef Manny), who are among the most hospitable hosts you could ever meet. They personally make their way around the restaurant, checking on every table and making sure everyone is enjoying their experience. That kind of genuine, hands-on hospitality makes all the difference! Our waiter, Ricky (2nd photo above) , and the entire staff were equally outstanding — attentive, professional, friendly, and on top of every detail. The service was truly top-notch from start to finish.

The restaurant itself is gorgeous! The décor is beautiful, the ambiance is warm and inviting, and the stylish, Old Hollywood-inspired vibe makes the entire evening feel special. Even the outfits and presentation throughout the restaurant were outstanding, adding to the charm and personality of the place. It’s the perfect setting for a date night, a special occasion, or simply a memorable dinner with friends.  It had a Peaky Blinders/Speakeasy-inspired theme.

Now, let’s talk about the food!

We started with the crab cake, French onion soup, and a tasty Caprese salad. The salad was a particularly nice option because it includes lettuce and allows you to add your choice of protein. We added shrimp, which was a delicious complement to the fresh flavors of the salad. Everything made for a wonderful start to the meal.  The French Onion soup (3rd photo below) was also delicious.

The menu offers a great variety of entrées, including meats, pastas, and plenty of other tempting options. We decided to focus on seafood, and we were delighted with our choices. The Mediterranean halibut, served with mashed potatoes and vegetables, was a wonderful entrée, while the seared sea scallops over linguini made for another excellent seafood selection. Both dishes helped make the evening feel like a real dining experience rather than just another night out.

And don’t skip the cocktails! We tried the Pickford rum cocktail, which was a fun and flavorful addition to the evening. Foxy’s has a creative signature cocktail program, so it’s well worth exploring the drink menu and finding a favorite of your own.

We didn’t have room for dessert but the menu and after dinner drinks looked enticing.

What really sets Foxy’s apart, though, is how beautifully everything comes together. You have a diverse menu, delicious food, a gorgeous setting, creative cocktails, and a team that genuinely cares about its guests. Tim and Teri have created something special, and their personal involvement shines through in the service and overall experience.

Foxy’s Kitchen + Bar is a true gem in the Coachella Valley, and we highly recommend it! Make a reservation, bring your appetite, enjoy a signature cocktail, and take the time to appreciate the wonderful hospitality. We look forward to returning!

Foxy’s atmosphere has a classic, speakeasy-inspired dining experience, and their website has their menu, signature craft cocktails and a dedicated Fox Den seating area. The restaurant is generally open Tuesday through Sunday, 4–9 p.m., with happy hour from 4–6 p.m.
