HONDA’S GOURMET FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL
TO BENEFIT TORRANCE MEMORIAL
Torrance , Calif. , July 18, 2011 – “An Evening Under the Stars,” American Honda Motor Co., Inc.’s 25th annual Gourmet Food & Wine Tasting Festival, Saturday, August 6 celebrates the best in South Bay cuisine while raising funds for nonprofit Torrance Memorial Medical Center .
The annual event, presented in partnership with the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on the grounds of American Honda in Torrance . Funds raised from the event will benefit Torrance Memorial’s new Main Tower and pediatric services. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Honda has chosen Torrance Memorial as the event’s beneficiary.
In addition to featuring premier restaurants, wineries and a silent auction, jazz fusionist and six-time GRAMMY Award winner Daniel Ho will perform.

Approximately 80 varietals of wine will be served, including Honda Classic/PGA Professional Wines. Professional sommeliers from Disney Grand Californian Hotel’s Napa Rose restaurant will be on hand to educate guests about wine.
