The scholarship fund at UC Davis Department of Viticulture and Enology was created in the memory of Michael Bonaccorsi, one of California’s most gifted and passionate young winemakers. Scholarships are a key component of the UC Davis’ Department of Viticulture and Enology’s teaching program, one that provides a vital stepping stone for students pursuing careers in the California wine industry. Awarding a scholarship to a deserving student is one of the most direct and powerful ways to impact their lives. Scholarships also ensure that outstanding students are recognized for their achievements and deserving students receive the financial assistance they need.

Michael Bonaccorsi will serve as an inspiration for many future generations of California wine industry leaders because of this scholarship fund. It will provide a lasting legacy of a great California winemaker at one of the finest wine education centers in the world – UC Davis.
