Auld Dubliner Long Beach tasty Irish Food-Drinks, Friendly service, Fun music, Socializing- January 2016
The Auld Dubliner in downtown Long Beach offers so tasty Irish cuisine, drinks and background bagpipe music to provide an all around good time with a casual atmosphere. The staff and service are attentive. Start with the potato leek soup or one of their other soups of the day. The smoked salmon is a nice appetizer or panini. The burger was juicy and came with fries.
The highlights were the Irish beef stew with mashed potatoes and the signature boxty entree (crepe like dish filled with your choice of protein and I went with our server’s suggestion with the chicken breast and veggies). Fantastic dish and not to miss. Enjoy one of their beers or ciders on tap besides their full bar. Finish your meal off with the decadent bread pudding and/or brown bread ice cream. Check their calender as they have live music and the place gets hopping later on weekend nights for a fun hangout.
