NEWPORT BEACH, CALIF. (Aug. 17, 2020) – Newport Beach & Company’s business unit, Dine Newport Beach and the Newport Beach Restaurant Association announced today the launch of the first-ever Newport Beach Restaurant Month: Eat. Drink. Win. starting on Sept. 1-30, 2020. It’s always a great time to dine in Newport Beach, but September is bound to serve up double the deliciousness with all of the ways to dine to win.
The festivities kicked off with a drive by media event on August 27th as it all comes together.
Created to bring together the crème de la crème of the region’s best culinary community, the inaugural Newport Beach Restaurant Month features a one-of-a-kind digital Dine Pass that houses an all-inclusive epicurean directory to the best bites in town. After signing up, patrons will unlock a variety of exclusive offers and opportunities to win daily foodie prizes and weekly grand vacations. Inclusive of all the ways to dine: outdoors, grab-and-go or for take-out at participating establishments, guests win by earning “check-ins” to win.
Our featured restaurant is the Plant Based Gracias Madre.
They serve a variety of vegan and gluten free dishes. Start with their healthy kale caesar salad. The guacamole with chips and coconut-mango ceviche were great side appetizers.
For entrees, the tacos al pastor with oyster mushrooms were fantastic along with the veggie tort sandwich. My personal favorite were the potato/veggie enchiladas with black beans and brown rice. The whole meal was simply delicious. The atmosphere was incredible outside and we had corner couch/booth seating. All the staff were fantastic including our server Meadow. For dessert, we had the
Make sure to end with the passion fruit or cheescake of the day with some ice cream on the side. The food is so good, you cannot tell it is all just plant based. Definitely a must visit on your next visit to Newport Beach and check them out during restaurant month as they have a great brunch $25 pre-fixed 3 course meal. Cannot beat that.

How It Works
Newport Beach Restaurant Month developed an interactive mobile Dine Pass that integrates local dining directories, exclusive offers and daily foodie giveaways and four grand prizes.
