Dining:

Anthony’s seafood restaurant in Anacortes is a special treat. They have a variety of locations around the northwest and you’ll be very satisfied with the quality of seafood and extraordinary service. Our server Alice & GM were super friendly, hostpitable and knowledgeable.   We started off with the fried calamari which was excellent. Don’t miss the salmon copper river poke which was very fresh.

They have a few different salads and other appetizers to choose from including oysters on the half shell. For entrées you can’t go wrong but the king salmon was off the charts and the fresh Alaskan sea scallops were tasty and delicate served with rice pilaf.

Try one of their signature drinks and it was fresh strawberry week when we were there so we tried the strawberry vodka cocktail. They also have a nice selection of wines to accompany your meal. For dessert once again the strawberry shortcake another choices are great variety but they also add  chocolate mousse and melted lava cake. Overall it was just fantastic and we highly recommended.   https://www.anthonys.com/restaurant/anthonys-at-cap-sante-marina/

Hong Kong Garden

If you like Chinese food, the Hong Kong Garden in Anacortes is not to miss. This authentic establishment has been family run by owner Joey since 1983. It’s no wonder why the food is so delicious and not greasy. They do not use MSG and cook with soy bean oil instead of peanut oil which is healthier.  The menu is very diversed with choices of beef, pork, chicken, seafood and veggies.

Some dishes that we had and highly recommend are the mooshoo chicken with vegetables, pan fried chow mein noodles, the beef and scallops with an assortment of vegetables and lastly the chicken fried rice. You’ll leave satisfied and very happy. Leah, the manager is super hospitable and very welcoming to all the guess. You can see more on their website an extensive menu along with their full page of cocktails with a beautiful bar.
