Hotel La Casa del Camino & The Rooftop Lounge in Laguna Beach offers great accommodations, food and more- April 2024

Hotel La Casa del Camino | The Rooftop Lounge is situated about a half a mile from the main part of downtown Laguna right near the beach. It is an intimate boutique hotel with a great rooftop restaurant/bar.

We had lunch there with a view of the ocean and it was excellent. We started with the hummus appetizer as well as the fried calamari which were both very tasty.  For Entrées, we had the vegetable burger and the Greek salad with seared ahi tuna and enjoyed both. Try one of their specialty drinks or cocktails to enhance your meal.  I had the espresso martini which complimented the wonderful lunch.

The Rooms were very cozy and the beds very comfortable with free Wi-Fi and a HD TV.   The staff is very friendly & helpful and the general manager Phelton was very welcoming and accommodating.  The location is fantastic & well situated as you can walk to the beach around the block and take the stairs down or walk in town on the sidewalk towards downtown.

The hotel lobby is a neat Spanish style like living room with a beautiful working fireplace.  Pastries, coffee and fruit are available in the morning and if you are in the mood to exercise, your key gives you access to the gym about 2 blocks away while you are staying at the hotel.  Overall, a wonderful overnight trip and we highly recommend a stay there.
