Tender, Winner of the “Wine Spectator Award of Excellence” 2009, 2010, and 2011 not only impresses with its extensive wine list but also it’s great variety of menu choices. From range-fed New Zealand beef, American Kobe beef, to wild game and fresh seafood flown in daily from Hawaii, California, New York, and Alaska.
Entering Tender, you are warmly greeted by the staff and seated in what you would consider a typical steak and seafood house. Deep woods and rich leather booths and low lighting that set the stage for a meal to remember. I was surprisingly transported into a realm where I completely forgot I was inside a Casino. That world was left behind quickly after being seated. Maybe one of the most memorable aspects of Tender, besides the food, had to be the service and attention. Manny and Jason were on top of their game all night. Having knowledgeable and friendly service made for a comfortable and pleasant evening.

One of the most exciting Dodger games in recent memory ended with Matt Kemp’s walk off homer in the bottom of the 10 thinning in front 54,242 in attendance. Kemp’s 11 thHR is the new Dodger record for April home runs set by Gary Sheffield in 2000. The Dodgers hosted the Nationals, both with 14-6 records heading into the game, to take sole possession of 1 stplace in the NL. The much-touted Stephen Strasburg lived up to expectations as one of the game’s best pitchers with great velocity and control while the MLB debut for Bryce Harper had both Dodger and National fans applauding his first MLB hit, a double to deep center in the top of the 7 th. Strasburg was leading 1-0 heading to the bottom of the 7 thafter Chad Billingsley gave up a 368 feet HR off the bat of Adam LaRoche in the top of the 7 th.
