“With child abuse 22 times more likely to occur in families living in poverty, which are most of the families served by Children’s Bureau, our help is needed now more than ever. The evening was a huge success thanks to the chefs and wineries — all of whom donated their valuable time and product — as well as the generosity of several corporate sponsors and guests,” said Event Chair and DineEquity, Inc. Keller, Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger. Wineries featured were Bergstrom Winery, Cossart Gordon, Dierberg Vineyards, Domaine Du Tariquet, Donelan Family Wines, Egelhoff Wines, Foxen Winery & Vineyard, JK Wine Co., Mas De Guiot, Ramey Wine Cellars and Smith Woodhouse & Co.

“Children’s Bureau is honored to have partnered with such a distinguished group of chefs, wineries and corporate sponsors who joined together to help raise vital funds for thousands of at-risk children and their families struggling to survive. Their generosity will allow us to continue giving these fragile families the necessary resources, guidance and tools they need to raise productive, thriving children,” said Children’s Bureau President & CEO Alex Morales.

Since 1904, Children’s Bureau ( www.all4kids.org ) has been a nonprofit leader in the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. More than 21,000 children and families are helped each year throughout Southern California with services that include school readiness, parenting classes, family resource centers, support groups, mental health counseling, foster care, adoption and more.
