The Capital Grille at the Beverly Center for a real Fine Dining experience (5/12)

The Capital Grille fine dining experience is well worth the visit. Try to request Arvy as your waiter as he was so hospitable and informative with all the menu items.  Start with their signature cocktail stoli doli (infused fresh pineapple and stoli vodka).  For appetizers, don’t miss the pan-fried calamari with hot cherry peppers, which is spicy but delicious and the lobster and crab cakes, which melt in your mouth.

For entrees, the lamb chops were very tasty but the two best dinner options by far in our opinion were the fresh sushi grade sesame seared tuna (order it with a side of avocado as it compliments the dish very well) and the wagyu filet- probably the best filet you will ever have.  It is a specialty cut and different from their regular filet and a higher grade of beef.  Add a lobster tail to any meal to really indulge and have some fabulous wine to enhance your experience from their huge wine list.  Our two favorite side dishes were the creamed spinach and not to miss lobster mac ‘n cheese.  The décor is beautiful and they offer free valet parking as you enter off of Beverly Blvd at the Beverly Center.  They are located at 8614 Beverly Blvd and phone # is 310-358-0650.  The food is plentiful and one big tip is not to eat too much of their tasty bread so you don’t fill up.

Also open for lunch- see below.

The Capital Grille will launch its Spring “Plates” menu, featuring three new selections that are perfect for the season:  Asparagus Soup, Shrimp and Piquillo Peppers with Crisp Bomba Rice and Grilled Spring Vegetables.  As always, guests of The Capital Grille can customize their lunch, choosing from nine “plates” offerings – soup or salad, sandwich and a side – all for $16.

According to Executive Chef Brent Jaeger, it’s out with the cold!  “The new Spring “Plates” lunch menu really highlights some of the crisp, garden-fresh ingredients that are in-season now. Fresh asparagus is the quintessential spring vegetable, and it stars in our Asparagus Soup. This dish serves as a delightful way to start your lunch.  For a sweet and spicy kick, try our Shrimp and Piquillo Peppers with Crisp Bomba Rice.  We are also pleased to offer side dishes made with the freshest spring ingredients, like our Grilled Spring Vegetables, and French Green Beans, both light and refreshing additions to any of our lunch entrée selections.”

For guests with a limited amount of time at lunch, The Capital Grille ensures they can enjoy the personalized service and mouth-watering cuisine that characterize a Capital Grille dining experience and still be on their way in about 45 minutes.  Guests can also tempt their appetites with traditional lunch favorites like French Onion Soup, The Grille’s Signature Cheeseburger, Ribeye Steak Sandwich with Caramelized Onions and Havarti or the Lobster and Crab Burger, among other classics.
