A day of fun on the Santa Monica Pier and Pacific Park

Join us at Pier del Sol: Viva La Fiesta as we honor Rob Friedman, Co-Chair and CEO of Summit Entertainment.
At this fun, family event, guests may enjoy spectacular cuisine from more than 35 of LA’s top restaurants, Pacific Park games and rides, and lots of activities all on the historic Santa Monica Pier.
Participants include celebrity guests, sponsors, supporters, and Special Olympics athletes and their families.
Benefiting Special Olympics:
All proceeds from Pier del Sol will benefit the more than 9,000 athletes of Special Olympics Southern California. Participation in Special Olympics empowers our athletes to become physically fit, productive and respected members of the community.
General Admission tickets are $45 and include unlimited rides, eight game tickets, and a meal coupon for Pacific Park’s food plaza. VIP Coaster Tickets are $150 each or $500 for five tickets. VIP tickets include an amazing VIP Brunch prepared by LA’s top restaurants, unlimited rides, and 10 game tickets. Child VIP tickets are $50 (ages 5-12 and only available at the door). Rob Friedman
Rob Friedman, Co-Chairman and CEO of Summit Entertainment has been a Special Olympics Southern California Board member for 16 years. Rob has also
served Special Olympics at the international level on the Board of Directors for the 2009
Special Olympics World Winter Games. Friedman’s career spans over 40 years having
held top-level posts at major studios including Vice Chairman of the Paramount Motion
Pictures Group and President of Worldwide Advertising and Publicity for Warner Bros.
Among many recent accomplishments, Summit Entertainment launched the worldwide
blockbuster film franchise THE TWILIGHT SAGA and won the 2010 Academy Award® for
best picture with THE HURT LOCKER.
