Fisherman’s Catch in Oxnard serves up the freshest seafood around- June 2015

  

The Fisherman’s Catch located in Oxnard, California is a family run business that offers the freshest seafood around. The owners are fisherman’s themselves so they provide the best local fish caught every morning. The establishment is very casual but the food is incredible. I started with a cup of the delicious clam chowder and had sauteed calamari with a spice sauce. This is one of the few places around that only deep fry the calamari. The shrimp was grilled to perfection as was the lobster. It came with a couple side dishes so I chose corn on the cob and mixed veggies.

       

I took home some fresh fish to cook and eat the next night and it was amazing. I had the halibut, sea bass and shark and all were tasty. The family-owned fish market and grill serves fresh, mouthwatering seafood. With over three generations of fishing, they have brought passion, quality and local catch to you.

 

Their father-son team specialize in catching fresh local white seabass, halibut, yellowtail, barracuda, crabs and lobsters. The fish they don’t catch, they get from high quality seafood vendors from around the US. They also sell to high quality seafood markets such as Santa Monica Seafood. The staff is super friendly and you get treated very well there.
