California Pizza Kitchen adds new seasonal items to the menu with tasty fish, salads- July 2015

We recently visited a couple of California Pizza Kitchens and loved their new menus. They have seasonal and new items including fresh fish and unique creations. The cedar-plank Salmon was delicious and not to miss. The lettuce wraps, new flatbreads and variety of soups and salads make CPK a new fresh dining experience. We love the whole wheat dough you can get for the pizzas and they also carry gluten free. They also carry whole wheat penne pasta. With so many locations around the country, I highly recommend a visit to try some of the new items as well as some of their staple dishes.

California Pizza Kitchen is in the midst of revamping its décor and menu nationwide with several L.A. locations debuting the new look and fare this summer. Considering what an iconic casual dining establishment CPK is here in the southland, (their roots are right here in Beverly Hills!).

CPK’s new look is much more rustic and natural in feel, guided by the use of sustainable materials i.e. walls, tables and doors made from reclaimed wood, counter tops of natural stone, seating fabrics made from recycled materials, and more.  The revamped restaurants feature a living herb garden, an expanded open-kitchen concept that lets guests see CPK chefs at work, and artwork that celebrates the local community—so that no two restaurants look exactly the same. The new menu preserves signature hand-tossed pizza favorites like CPK’s popular BBQ Chicken Pizza, along with new main plates like fire-grilled rib-eye, roasted halibut, new appetizers, salads and sides—and hand-crafted cocktails showcasing fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations (like the California Roots cocktail, for example, made with Svedka Vodka, fresh avocado and mint, fresh Agave Sour, and a fennel salt rim).
