We recently had the pleasure of visiting Pause Studio for the first time, specifically the Brentwood location on San Vicente Boulevard. As soon as we walked in, we received a warm and friendly greeting, and we quickly filled out the necessary forms before embarking on our journey of treatments. The studio offers a wide range of recovery and body treatments, each of them truly helpful and healing.
Our experience began with the cryo-chamber (pictured above), where we spent three minutes with most of our extremities covered. This invigorating start set the tone for what was to come. Next, we ventured into the LED infrared sauna room for a blissful 30 minutes. We also braved the cold plunge, which was a challenge to enter but undoubtedly the most therapeutic experience, especially for those with injuries. Going back and forth between the hot and cold was truly revitalizing. After exiting the room, we felt incredibly refreshed.
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the float room, an absolute must-try at Pause. A specific time reservation is required for this serene experience. As you float in a warm Epson salt water bath, soothing background music lulls your body into a state of complete relaxation, leaving you in a calm state of mind. The 1000 pounds of Epson salt in the water create a floating sensation, which is truly unique. After the float session, a refreshing shower washes away all the salt, leaving you rejuvenated.
In addition to the float room, we also tried the LED bed for 10 minutes and 30 seconds, which effectively reduces inflammation. The ability to customize our visit and choose from various treatments made our time at Pause truly spectacular.
For those interested, I highly recommend checking out Pause Studio’s website and exploring their menu of options. It’s a wonderful way to spend a few hours, indulging in treatments tailored to your needs and preferences.
