We were absolutely thrilled with our experience at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village! This exceptional wellness and fitness center, named the Center for Health and Wellbeing, truly stands out as a unique retreat. During my visit with my partner Lisa, we were blown away by what this haven has to offer, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to couples, singles, and families alike.
From invigorating hikes with breath-taking views to morning yoga sessions and top-notch workouts in their state-of-the-art gym, coupled with the luxury of two heated pools, our four-day, three-night wellness retreat was just the beginning of an unforgettable experience.
The Wellness Team, led by the incredible Michael and Sabena, alongside Lyndsey, Sherry, and Jessie, as well as a roster of skilled instructors, therapists, and experts such as Jenny, Jill, Emmaline, Samantha, Scott, Stephanie, Lacey, Gina, Julie F, Leah, and Therese, exceeded all expectations. Their expertise catered seamlessly to our individual fitness, wellness, and relaxation needs. A special shoutout to head chef Samantha, whose nutritional wisdom enriched our dining experiences. With Emmaline’s guidance, we indulged in delectable and health-conscious meals that Chef Samantha thoughtfully curated.
One of the highlights was our communal cooking adventure in the well-equipped kitchen on our first night. Bonding over fresh ingredients and wholesome preparations was a standout memory, fostering camaraderie within the group.
The spa treatments, including manicures, pedicures, facials, and massages, were pure indulgence. With access to the steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and premium products, we truly embraced relaxation.
Our meticulously crafted itineraries featured a relaxing sound bath meditation, invigorating circuit training, body composition analysis, target heart rate assessments, hikes, a life balance workshop and some free time for personal exploration. The VO2 target heart rate assessment, involving a masked uphill treadmill run, was an enlightening fitness challenge. Meanwhile, the complete body composition analysis (BOD POD) provided valuable insights into our fitness journeys.
Every aspect of the retreat was thoughtfully designed to reduce stress, enhance fitness knowledge, promote healthier eating habits, and offer a range of pampering treatments.
The staff’s profound knowledge, warm demeanor, and genuine commitment to guest satisfaction were truly impressive. They went above and beyond to ensure we maximized our experience.
The accommodations at The Four Seasons were impeccable, boasting cleanliness and the epitome of comfort, including the perfect mattress and bed. My advice: mark your calendar for their upcoming wellness retreats, typically scheduled from the first Thursdays through Sundays of each month. Prepare to elevate your dietary habits, fitness routines, and nutritional understanding, all while forging new friendships amidst the stunning backdrop of the Four Seasons Hotel, Westlake Village: Center for Health and Wellbeing.
