LOS ANGELES, Calif. – (August 4, 2007) – As an alternative to the typical California cuisine found at most L.A. restaurants, InterContinental Century City’s new Chef Vincent Cachot has transformed the hotel’s Park Grill menu into cuisine of the world with his own French influence.  With more than 20 years of culinary inspiration in France, Lebanon, Malaysia, Switzerland the Bahamas and the United States, diners have a variety of options, featuring only the freshest organic ingredients available.

For power breakfasts, lunch and intimate dinners, Park Grill is ideally located adjacent to 20th Century Fox in Century City, catering to the needs of business travelers, entertainment executives, agents, celebrities and L.A. residents. The restaurant offers a private atmosphere with plush seating and discreet dining for guests who do not want to be seen.  Guests can choose between indoor and outdoor seating, and a private dining room is also available for business dinners and events for four to 15 guests.  Prior to dining, guests can lounge in the Park Grill Lounge with stylish cocktails, specializing in martinis, including their signature Basiltini.  Fine wines, tequilas and your spirit of choice are available. 

For dinner, the Chef’s menu features flavorful options including Ahi Tuna Tar Tar with Cilantro Dressing, Avocado Relish, Warm Coconut Rice; Beef Carpaccio with Black Angus Filet, Tomato Jam and Tempura Capers; and Grilled Shrimp with Fork Mashed Green Peas, Mint, Anis to start.  For main courses, diners can choose from Colorado Organic Veal Medallion with Parsnip Puree, Mushroom and Walnut Custard, Dry Apricot Compote and Veal Jus; Grilled Organic Salmon Steak with Vegetable Tartare; Asparagus, Chef’s Smoked Salmon and Citrus Reduction; and the 10-ounce Wagyu Kobe Rib Eye, as one of four grill options with a variety of sauces and sides.  Desserts are a must with the Trilogy of Pineapple with Pan-seared Sweet & Sour, Shooter with Whipped Cream and Upside-own Upside-down cake; Valrhona Chocolate Cake with Praline Crème Anglaise, Chocolate Sorbet, Hazelnut Malt; and Homemade Churros with Grenadine Syrup, Jalapeno-Chocolate, and Caramel Sauces and Petite Hot Chocolate.
